Non-Warranty Support

At ADVANTIDGE we care about the success of your identity management program with 20 years trusted and proven support in the security industry. We provide clients with excellent service and expert support to insure piece of mind for users who manage ID badge printing operations. Our standard coverage and support options are shown below for products that are no longer covered by the manufacturer warranty.


ADVANTIDGE will provide domestic phone and email support during the life of ID card printing products which have been purchased from us. We guarantee a basic level of support on all the products we sell, in addition a variety of additional support plans with expedited response times, as well as other benefits.

ADVANTIDGE technical support may be able to diagnose your equipment over the phone and offer a repair quote or support plan so the product can be sent to us for professional service. No printers or any other item purchased from ADVANTIDGE will be accepted for service without having a repair quote, approves repair order or support case issued for the product to confirm what service is needed.


ADVANTIDGE offers an all-inclusive Desk Fee (one time service) to cover non-warranty repairs. This includes diagnosis of the original problem with the product, thorough testing and inspection to reveal any other potential problems and defects, as well as a thorough post repair cleaning and calibration of the unit to manufacturer specifications in order to ensure quality of repair. It also includes limited coverage for incidental parts and supplies required to conduct those services.

Any parts or supplies deemed to be excluded at the sole discretion of ADVANTIDGE are the customer’s responsibility and must be approved prior to installation. The Desk Fee for current model badge printers is $295.00. Discontinued card printers have a Desk Fee of $395.00. Please contact our expert support team to request a repair quote so you can send in your equipment for expedited service which is typically offers a 2-3 day turnaround.

Card Printer Rental

In the instance that a customer’s unit does not include a loaner ID card printer as part of their manufacturer warranty coverage, or said coverage has expired, ADVANTIDGE may have a rental printer available which is offered to eligible clients with an active support plan. ID card printers may be rented at a daily fee beginning on the day the customer receives the unit and ending the day that the printer arrives back at our facility.

ADVANTIDGE does not guarantee an exact make or model match for the ID card printer being serviced but we maintain a loaner pool with many popular models available. Rental printers will include a pre-installed tested ribbon tested and the option to request power cord(s) and USB cable, with the expectation that all parts will be returned with the unit. If you would like to request a rental printer while your unit is being serviced, please activate your Gold Support Plan today and we will have a rental ready within 24 hours of receiving your printer for repair.
